Join us

Want to join us? There are several ways to participate and contribute to the FHCA community!

Volunteers

Without volunteers, many of our programs would not exist. Come and share your experience with the Forest Heights Community Association. By doing so, you can help to contribute to quality community programming. Whether you volunteer for a few hours, or an entire session, we have a variety of volunteer opportunities to suit your lifestyle and your abilities.

Benefits

A volunteer job will enhance your resume, and show that you have been involved in the volunteer sector.

Students: looking to increase your volunteer hours for school? We can provide you with opportunities.

Volunteer Appreciation: we hold an annual volunteer appreciation event, just to say thank you!

Networking: Bring a friend, and make new friends!

Support

We train every volunteer and offer regular support to learn all aspects of the position.

Board of Directors

Board positions can be done partially in the comfort of your own home, at a time convenient for you, with occasional visits to the Community Centre. Most positions require approximately 4-10 hours per month to fulfill.

The Board of Directors meets regularly on the third Tuesday of every month from September to June from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.

Visit our About page for a detailed description of Board positions.
